Harborage Inn on the Oceanfront

Great experience staying in Room #3 at the Harborage Inn during the off-season. We really enjoyed the location on the harbor and how close it was to walk to restaurants and shopping downtown. We loved the fresh breakfasts delivered to our room each morning. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Boothbay Harbor.

We had such a lovely stay at the Harborage Inn. It’s a beautiful, well-maintained property with amazing views. We especially enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the harbor. The best part was the incredible breakfast they made each morning & brought to our room! It was very tasty & the staff were so warm/welcoming. We have 3 kids who are wild & they were really patient/kind with them which we greatly appreciated. The kids loved exploring the decks & property by the water. It was a perfect location for exploring Boothbay (we could walk everywhere)! Can’t wait to come back one day! This is the only place we would stay. Thank you Alex & staff for making it such a wonderful stay!!

We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked a couple of nights here only a few weeks before arrival. Our only option was to switch rooms after our first night, which we worried might be tricky. Our first night we were in room 8 with generous harbor views ( at low tide harbor was nothing but mud, but that can’t be helped!) and our second night we were in room 6. To our surprise we preferred the smaller room 6. Although both rooms were spotless, had extremely comfortable beds and were just lovely. The daily breakfast was great, The staff friendly and helpful and the transition between rooms was made seamlessly while we were out enjoying Monhegan island . All shops and restaurants are just a two minute walk Away. It was a great stay!

We stayed here for a quick weekend trip three nights. Location is perfect. Can walk right into the town to go to the stores or to get food. View is amazing and you get to eat your breakfast on the deck. Let's talk breakfast. You get a menu each night at your door and get to pick your selections. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious- included in the room. The room is so nicely appointed. Nice windows, big comfy bed with electric fireplace. Good sized fridge. Bathroom has a towel warmer! This is the place to stay in Boothbay. Staff is wonderful. Would stay again.

The room was great the service was wonderful, the view was lovely!! We enjoyed our stay with family that we had not seen in a very long time. Breakfast was included with our room and it was delicious. It made fresh to order and delivered to the room at a specific time! Mark and Brooke were wonderful, caring hosts! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Recently stayed at the Harborage inn this week and I have to say that this was a great location with great service High points for: Location; close to everything. Leave your car and walk to the docks, restaurants, and even the supermarket (all within half a mile). Breakfast; was made to order based on what the specials were that day, but all were excellently made and tasty Views; if your luck enough to book a harbor room, you have excellent views all throughout the day, even at high and low tide. Negatives; while it wasn't the Inns fault, the tesla destination chargers were inoperable (thats teslas fault). As for the 4 out of 5 rating for rooms, that was because the room we booked only had a/c in the main area / bedroom and not the second bedroom. While it was possible to keep the 2nd bedroom cool by having the windows open, it was not cool enough for us. This doesnt detract from the overall quality of the room or our stay, but it is what it is. Maybe a window fan would have helped or a ceiling fan. Don't hesitate, book a room there for your next stay to Boothbay Harbor, you won't regret it.

Absolutely outstanding. Fantastic location, on the water and close to the quaint downtown. The owners are incredibly kind, thoughtful and friendly. The room was so beautifully designed and appointed and seemed brand-new (we were in 11, in the corner overlooking the water). And the breakfasts were phenomenal! I wish I took a picture of one of the menus - every night guests receive a new menu to choose from, which includes a choice of 4 fantastic meals. Every day offered different meals - we were there 3 nights and every breakfast we got was beyond delicious (and healthy!). Thank you for a wonderful stay - we hope to be back soon! PS - I’m not sure what kind of pillow was in our room but that was the best and most-comfortable pillow I’ve ever used in all my life. :)
